Worcester County GOLD Provides School Supplies For Less-fourtunate

8/12/2011 | By The Dispatch Staff

Worcester County GOLD (Giving Other Lives Dignity), Inc. is in the midst of its 15th back-to-school project providing school supplies to less-fortunate children. Last year, GOLD's sponsors helped 535 children return to school with all necessary grade-appropriate supplies. At the present time, however, GOLD has approximately 220 children who have been referred for help but do not have sponsors. If you can help, call 410-677-6830 to be matched with your student. Above, local students help pack backpacks for needy kids.
