Ocean City Elementary School students and staff participated in a canned food and toy drive for less fortunate families in Worcester County. Students in Andrese Foreman's third grade class at Ocean City Elementary School investigated how bats use echolocation to find prey at night. Above, Alexandra Strebe, left, was blind-folded and had to rely on her sense of hearing to locate Jessica Janney and Arusa Islam by listening to the sounds of their clicking spoons. This helped them develop a better understanding of how echolocation helps bats find food.
