Sunset Grille Bloody Mary Competition Raises $1,400 For Worcester Youth And Family

About $1,400 was raised for Worcester Youth and Family Counseling Services from the 2nd Annual Bloody Mary Competition at Sunset Grille in West Ocean City on Dec. 18. Local bars and restaurants competed for the title of best Bloody Mary recipe in Ocean City. First place went to the Greene Turtle West followed by Seacrets, second, and Bull on the Beach and Sunset Grille, tied for third. American Legion Donates To Perry Point VA Hospital

Four veterans from American Legion Post #166, Ocean City went this month to Perry Point VA Hospital with a pickup truck load of donated men’s clothing for the patients at the VA hospital. They also presented a $500 check to Rich Maichle, Voluntary Service Specialist for Perry Point hospital, to be used for the patients at the hospital to purchase socks, slippers and other items.
