Representatives of Wicomico County Public Schools and the community gathered at West Salisbury Elementary School on Friday, Sept. 14, for a celebration of Baxter Enterprises/McDonald’s, a key business partner that has generously supported Wicomico students and teachers for more than a dozen years. The business will surpass the half-million dollar mark this school year for its investment in public education. Above, Dr. Margo Handy, Assistant Superintendent for Instruction and Student Services, has help from West Salisbury Elementary School students to show the amount of Baxter Enterprises/McDonald's contributions to Wicomico students and schools since 1999.
