BERLIN -- Thousands were without power across a wide swath of northern Worcester County early this morning when a breaker tripped at a substation near Berlin after running low on gas. Around 4:45 a.m. on Thursday, a breaker tripped at a Delmarva Power substation at Route 346 on the outskirts of Berlin leaving around 5,000 customers without power on a frigid fall morning. SNOW HILL -- An Ocean City man arrested on first-degree rape and other charges last March after sexually assaulting a former female roommate was found guilty this week in Circuit Court of first-degree burglary and was sentenced to two years in jail.
