The United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore recently recognized Safran Labinal for their continuous support of the annual United Way campaign. Combined contributions totaled $49,937.48, almost a $5,300 increase, ranking them once again among the top 25 companies supporting United Way. Dr. David Cowall, Medical Director for Coastal Hospice & Palliative Care, received the Coastal Hospice Jean Camie Jackson Heart of Hospice award at his retirement party this month. Cowall came to Coastal Hospice in 1981 as volunteer associate medical director and became Medical Director in 2004.
