Cultural Lessons Learned at Showell Elementary

Third grade students at Showell Elementary learned about a new culture after reading a story about adinkra cloths, which are from Ghana and have symbols that represent different words and ideas. The students made adinkra cloths and used symbols that would reflect their own lives. Then they wrote paragraphs to describe their cloths. Displaying their wares are Travis Adams, Skylar Crowley and Caroline Cardamone.
