Awards Presented

BERLIN — First Shore Federal’s Patti Feeheley and Debbie Tingle, affiliate members of the Coastal Delmarva Chapter of Women’s Council of Realtors (WCR), have been awarded the chapter’s 2012 Affiliates of the Year Award, which recognizes an affiliate member who has made a notable contribution to the life of the chapter.

Both have been active with the Community Services Committee as well as the previous golf tournaments for the chapter and regularly step up to the plate for donations that support the chapter’s community drives.

Prudential PenFed Realtor Mickey Lobb has been awarded the 2012 Member of the Year Award by the Coastal Delmarva Chapter of the Women’s Council of Realtors (WCR) for making a notable contribution to the life of the chapter. He joined the chapter in 2008 and has chaired the popular House Tours committee for several years.

Top Producers Named

BERLIN — For the month of August, Broker Dr. Carl E. Ortman announced the top producers in listings and volume sold.

Marlene Ott and Pam Price share the top listing producer and are one and two, respectively, with $1,500,000 and $1,300,000 in volume sold. In another area of recognition and for the third straight year, Metropolitan Magazine has named Pam Price Best Realtor on the Eastern Shore.

Del. License Received

BERLIN — Shamrock Realty Group has announced that Jim Volk has received his Delaware Real Estate license.

Volk joined Shamrock Realty Group in 2010 as a licensed Maryland Realtor and is now part of The Beach2Bay Real Estate Team. Prior to beginning his real estate career on the Eastern Shore, Volk had a 35-year career in retail management with major department stores throughout the United States.      

Long-Time Doctor Retires

SALIBURY — After 35 years of providing healthcare services to the people of the Delmarva Peninsula, Dr. John Routenberg retired from practicing medicine and closed his gastroenterology office on Aug. 31.

Peninsula Regional Medical Center and its Peninsula Regional Medical Group are privileged to be selected by Routenberg to provide care for his patients upon his retirement. All patient records will automatically transfer to Peninsula Regional Gastroenterology Medicine, which is under the direction of physicians Halim Charbel and Daniel Daniels.

“I’ve worked closely with both physicians, their clinical skills are exceptional and their commitment to patient care equals that which has always been so important to me. I am very happy to recommend Drs. Charbel and Daniels,” said Routenberg.

In addition, Dr, Apsara Prasad has joined Charbel and Daniels at Peninsula Regional Gastroenterology Medicine to see new patients.
