BERLIN- Stephen Decatur’s varsity indoor track teams turned in several strong performances at last week’s Bayside Conference meet at Parkside High School on Wednesday.
On the girls’ side, in the 1,600, Dori Krasner finished 10th overall, while Peyton Dunham finished seventh in the 3,200. In the 500, Claire Billings was fourth while Alyssa Romano finished seventh. Adrianna Serpe finished eighth in the 55-meter hurdles. In the 800, Krasner finished seventh while Brigitte Ardis was eighth. In the field events, Bethany Williams was fourth in the high jump, while Christina Romano was 10th. Jillian Mitrecic finished second in the pole vault.
On the boys’ side, in the 1,600, Cameron James was fifth and Kevin Beck was sixth. In the 3,200, Javier Hernandez was eighth and Jack Reimer was ninth. In the high jump, Decatur’s Wyatt Davy was second, while Jared Massey finished ninth. In the pole vault, Davy was eighth and Zach Cioccio was ninth. Patrick Miller finished fifth in the shot put and Massey finished fourth in the triple jump.
